Matthew Kohut

My support for HER Resiliency Center is rooted in its mission. The organization has an immediate impact on women in crisis, and the skills and support it provides go beyond short-term intervention to promote lasting, positive change.

Matthew Kohut is the managing partner of KNP Communications and co-
author of Compelling People: The Hidden Qualities That Make Us Influential. He has coached public figures for events ranging from live television appearances to TED talks, and has served as a speechwriter for CEOs as well as top executives in government and advocacy organizations. He has taught at George Washington University and served as a fellow at Bennington College. His writing has appeared in publications ranging from Newsweek to Harvard Business Review. He previously worked as a writer, a teacher, and a professional bassist, touring the United States and Europe with numerous pop music acts.
