Sacha is an entrepreneur, award-winning communications executive, and president of Grassfed Media (GrassfedMediaDC.com), a boutique PR and marketing firm. Her company focuses on working with businesses and non-profits that do well by doing good.Her current and past clients including the Partnership for a Healthier America, Equinox Restaurant, The Foundation for Art and Preservation in Embassies, DC VegFest, Animal Equality, and Bazaar Spices.
Prior to Grassfed Media, Sacha was the Director of Digital Media at the Corporation for National and Community Service (CNCS), where she built and ran the agency’s first digital media department as well as President Obama’s national call to service website, Serve.gov.
Over her 20+ year career, Sacha has held staff and consulting positions at AARP, The Magazine Group, the Association for Training and Development, Cahners Publishing, National Geographic, Discovery, the U.S. Mint and many other organizations where she has led content strategy as well as online and social media marketing efforts.
Sacha began her career as a magazine editor and has written for The Washington Post, Washingtonian, USA Today, Cosmopolitan, Kiplinger.com, Monster.com, and many other print and online publications.
Sacha is on the Board of the Arlington Arts Center, the Advisory Board of HER Resiliency Center, and the Volunteer Leadership Committee of the Washington Humane Society. She has also served on the host committees for FRESHFARM Markets’ Farmland Feast, the Green Festival, and Washington Humane Society’s Sugar & Champagne Gala. Sacha earned her Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
